Deer Mountain is one of the original developments around the Jordanelle and with that said most established.  So if you are looking for a more mature, nearly completed neighborhood without living through the construction noise and havoc, this is the place. It’s filled with eclectic homes and offers a varying degrees of prices.  Looking for estate-type living…head to the top, there are some massive homes with some amazing views.

Where is Deer Mountain?

Just above the Jordanelle Reservoir, tucked away on the bench is home to homes and townhomes.  Deer Mountain has a varied offering of both!  
You will find large estate style home sites that vary from just over 2 to 28 acres and typical building lots from .25 to half-acre.

What size of Homes sit in Deer Mountain?

Homes in Deer Mountain range in size from approx 3000 square feet to over 7000 square feet.  Living hillside provides many opportunities for either view or privacy.  

There are a limited number of townhomes.  Towards the entry and the lower side of the neighborhood, you will find 2 and 3-bedroom condos from just under 1400 square feet to approx 1900 square feet.

Living at Deer Mountain provides quick access to the Park City Hospital, USSA Center for ExcellencePark City Film Studio, and more at Quinns Junction.

Residents have a hard time deciding what awesome recreational things to do while living here.  Access to world-class skiing is less than 15 minutes away, blue-ribbon fly fishing on the Provo River, or shopping Historic Main Street.  Heading up to the Uinta Mountains via the Mirror Lake Highway is always a welcome departure from the Park City lifestyle.

Depending on the time of day, Deer Valley Gondola can be reached via car in approximately 12 minutes as well as Main Street, Park City!

Deer Mountain is located in the Wasatch County School District. Your child would attend JR Smith Elementary, Rocky Mountain Middle School, and Wasatch High School.

Other options for schooling would be to try to opt-in to the Park City School District or check out Silver Summit Academy, Weilenmann School of Discovery, Park City Day School, or one of the many private schools in the Salt Lake Valley such as Rowland Hall or Waterford School.
