Jordanelle Private Golf Communities

With two outstanding golf communities at the Jordanelle, it’s going to be a tough decision…

Tuhaye and Victory Ranch both boast championship golf courses, amazing amenities, and unbelievable views. So when you are looking at private golf communities at the Jordanelle, it’s best to look at both!

Victory Ranch

Victory Ranch is located on the south end of the Jordanelle and offers river access to the Provo River. The Provo River is a world-renown for fly fishing. We think if you are looking for a true escape, then Victory Ranch might be your place. It’s a little more remote and private. While you have to drive all the way around the Jordanelle, accessing it from the Heber Airport would be the fastest way to “jet-set” in!

“Victory Ranch opened to serious rave reviews in July of 2009, and has many circles talking about it as being the #1 best course in Utah.”

You can find many different homeownership options at Victory Ranch. Custom homesites, fractional ownership, luxury custom homes, cabins are all possibilities here.

Let’s talk golf. The Rees Jones design is said to be the best in the state and we have to agree. Our time on the course has been found with challenging fairways, slippery greens, and scenic drives.

Tuhaye is located just a short jaunt from Park City via State Route 248. Easy access to the freeway makes for short commute times from the Salt Lake International Airport, getting you to the tee box in no time.

Access to Talisker Club is the big draw at Tuhaye. Yes, the Mark O’Meara designed golf course is beautiful and challenging but connectivity off of the course is key.

At an elevation of about 7000 feet, expect your ball to really fly; which it is going to need to given the 7800 yards you’ll have to cover if playing from the tips. The course is setup tough; real tough. Four of the par 4s tip out over 500 yards and the par 5s on the back nine are nearly impossible to reach in two. The greens are firm and fast which can make it difficult to hold the putting surface when approaching from more than an 8 iron out, but they roll pure as can be.

Let’s talk golf. We love Tuhaye. It’s long picturesque fairways and difficult greens are not for the faint of heart. We find the finishing holes at Tuhaye the most difficult. Climbing your way back up to the clubhouse makes for a fun ending to the day. If you are looking for a club that challenges you every time you tee it up, Tuhaye is your place.
