Living on the west side of the Jordanelle offers many advantages to residents. Commonly referred as the “The Mayflower Exit” neighborhood is a prime location for easy access to both Mayflower Mountain and Deer Valley ski resort, and is conveniently located near the freeway for quick trips to the airport. There is also close proximity to Jordanelle State Park, where you can take advantage of the beautiful views and recreational activities that the park has to offer. Boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and so much more are all available to explore in this natural oasis. The area boasts stunning views of the Jordanelle, Mt Timpanogos and other majestic peaks throughout Utah’s Wasatch Range.

This resort is set to open a world of incredible views and endless potential for outdoor activities with its varied terrain. Hikers and bikers alike will have access to miles of winding trails, offering new scenic vistas around every corner.

SHOPPING

Similar to the north end of the Jordanelle, shopping on the west side of the Jordanelle means going into town (either Park City or Heber). For those looking to get their grocery shopping done, Kimball Junction is a great choice with its large selection of stores including Fresh Market, Walmart, and Whole Foods and it’s just a short 10 min drive away.

Eating

Living on the east side of the Jordanelle offers two options, go north into Park City or go south into Heber City both have a variety of great restaurants to choose from. Some of our favorites include Sammy Bistro, in Prospector Park City. Sammy’s offers a unique dining experience with delicious entrees, appetizers and desserts that are sure to satisfy even the choosiest foodies.

Just a short drive away in Heber City is Dairy Keen, an old-fashioned diner serving up classic favorites like burgers and shakes (Gluten Free options too). Midway Mercantile is also a must-try spot with its mouthwatering sandwiches, burgers, salads, and desserts.

No matter what kind of cuisine you’re craving, these restaurants provide fast service, fresh ingredients, and excellent customer service. Plus, they all offer takeaway options for those on the go or looking for an easy option for dinner on your way home.
